I was glad that I purchased this book at the same time as the previous book in this series - I really wanted to find out what was going to happen next! I enjoyed this book and will definitely continue to read books coming up in the series. One quibble I have is that I think the book should have ended earlier in the story. The events described at the end covers too much time. If the next book is to happen further in the future I would have been happier if the start of that book summarized the passage of time rather than giving the quick skip-ahead at the end of this one.This book gives the reader much more information about the overall history of the civilization and about the current state of affairs, which is cool. The various "bad guys" are fleshed out and given motive so that it is possible to delve a little deeper into what possibly lies ahead.
There is more sex in this book than in the previous one, but again - it is suitable to the plot and in only one instance is it really a bit overdone. And I can understand why that happens in the particular circumstances although I think Kyra could have gotten herself out of the situation before it got as far as it did. Her revenge is - a bit too much in my opinion. But it is in character ...
In conclusion - read this book and enjoy the ride! I sure hope there are many more to come.

E.S. Tilton continues to lure you into her worlde. This sequel is Sexy, witty & unpredictable. I didn't want the book to end & hope there is more to come.
Book 2 of the Kyron's Worlde Foretold Saga, A Seductions Blade. Leaves me wanting more. Fully emerged into this world, my mind wonders at the unknown. The tale of Kyra and Tahrek now a true part of my memories. I felt as if I put the book down I would miss what would happen next. Not as if it was simply a story I was I reading, but a living world that existed just beyond my vision. As if the book before me was a portal to which I could view this world and watch the lives of these characters unfold. E.S. Tilton has a story telling method that I truly enjoy. Having finished this book, I can not wait to read book 3. It truly is a saga to be foretold.
ES Tilton certainly knows how to craft a "cliff hanger". I had already fallen in love with Kyron's Worlde and it's characters while reading the first "Foretold" book ( "Betrayed by Desire") and my love for the author's style and her imaginary "people" is now even greater. Yet, the intrigue continues.......
In fact, I found myself so strongly identifying with the characters' trials and tribulations that the sensitive ending of this book brought a wonderful temporary sigh of relief, ...... and then, there is this lingering knowing that more intrigue lurks in the future. Brilliant! I am hooked.
E.S. Tilton's Workde is complex and facinating. I was captivated by the love story and grabbed the next book the minute this one was finished. Delightful, sexy, thought provoking.
